In the fall of 2019, I started at the HKU bachelor ‘Musician 3.0’ only to realize that these studies did not comply with the skills I wanted to develop in the musical field.
I quit my studies and decided to start working out how I wanted to proceed with my musical development, after some experimenting I found out this had to happen by learning how to produce my music.
I had already set some foot into producing, and I needed to know more…

I started receiving some old beats from my friends, putting them into my Logic, and writing songs for the productions. I wrote lyrics, sang, and recorded my vocals and with time I discovered how to get creative in the box.
At the time I was wildly using guitar amps as vocal effects, deploying screams and
“backing vocals” as synths etc.

After some time of working in my DAW and figuring out how to produce a musical idea into a track, I started to find my way and I made ‘What ya gonna do?
In ‘What ya gonna do?’ I started to merge my lyrics and songwriting with my own productions, instead of making songs onto external productions. (april 2021)

Projectweek oktober 2021: In the project week of fall 2021, we were expected to work on our own project and try something new/out of the box. I decided to explore my options of performing my music live, I wanted to do some try-outs.
With a novation mini keyboard and a basic Ableton live-setup I performed
‘While You Were Sleeping’ live.
Now I found out how to dissect my projects and pour it into a live set-up I felt eager to explore my options and also, I started to see the possibilities of performing live with the music I had created already.
MY FIRST SHOW
That went well and I was able to play a lot of gigs over the summer, finessing the set I prepared and playing some nice venues.
over the summer, I got admitted to the e-music associate degree program at the conservatory of Haarlem and I finally found the time and space to develop myself as an artist.
